Chaplets, also known as pocket rosaries, are simple, one-decade rosaries.  These chaplets contain ten Ave beads and one Pater bead, plus a centerpiece and a crucifix.  These chaplets are small, and easily fit into the palm of the hand, or may be carried in the pocket or purse, and can be readily used for prayers without the bulk of an entire five decade rosary.  This is a great way to pray on the go!

ABOVE IS A CHAPLET MADE FROM 8MM SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL BEADS IN A PERIDOT COLOR, AND IS WIRED TOGETHER WITH STERLING WIRE.  THE CENTER AND THE CRUCIFIX ARE ALSO STERLING.  THE PATER BEAD ON THIS ONE IS A VERY LARGE FRESHWATER PEARL.  THESE SMALL ROSARIES CAN BE MADE FAIRLY QUICKLY, DUE TO THEIR SIZE, AND CAN BE CUSTOM DESIGNED IN ANY COLOR AND MATERIAL YOU LIKE.  I CAN ALSO MAKE THESE IN SOLID BRONZE.   PRICE:  $85

Above is a variation on the pocket rosary that is pictured just above this one.  They are both made of sterling center and crucifix, and sterling wire, plus the 8mm Swarovski crystals in the peridot color.  However, this one is made a bit heftier and heavier, as it was designed for a man, and peridot is his birthstone.  The wire is heavier than the first chaplet, which was made for a woman, which was more delicately constructed.  The crucifix on this one is also bigger and heavier, as is the center.  The Pater bead on this one is also a huge, freshwater pearl.  And, on either side of each Ave bead, is not only one AB 3mm crystal, but also one peridot AB 3mm crystal.  There are tiny silver beadcaps on either side of each Ave bead, as well.  One remarkable difference, too, is the addition of a "dove" white gold charm to the center, representing the Holy Spirit (the charm was paid for and sent to me by the purchaser).  I can supply the charm if you'd like one, but the price would go up depending upon if you wanted it in white gold or simple sterling.  The whole piece came together in a stunning rendition of the peridot chaplet.  This was designed by myself and the purchaser, over the internet.  Price:  $95.

Above is a wonderful turquoise pocket rosary.  I used a heavier gauge sterling wire (20 gauge) on this one, and also a large, heavy sterling crucifix.  The beads are stabilized real turquoise, 8mm in size.  They are round, but as turquoise is not the smoothest of materials, they have a real nice "feel" to them.  The Pater bead is stabilized turquoise in a 10mm size, and is also hand carved in some really nice patterns.  It feels good under your fingers.  The center is also heavy sterling.  There are little silver beadcaps on all the beads, and I think it makes the beads just look a little more elegant.   Price:  $95

Above is a pocket rosary I made for a beloved Priest.  This rosary is also constructed in a heavier, 20 gauge sterling wire, and the beads are made from Botswana Agate in an oblong shape.  I love the white/transparent color.  It feels so good and smooth to your fingers.  The beads are around 8-9mm round, and approximately 15mm long, as these beads are totally individual.  No two are the exact same size or shape.  The center and crucifix are heavy sterling, and each bead has a silver beadcap at each end for extra elegance!  Price:  $95.

Above is a pocket rosary for a much loved Priest, during his first year of ordination.  This rosary is made of heavy gauge sterling wire (20 gauge), and heavy sterling crucifix and center.  These beads are a dark navy goldstone, in an 8mm size.  Also on this website, I pictured a brown goldstone standard rosary, with bronze elements.  All of these goldstone beads are made from glass with an enormous amount of copper flakes embedded in them.  I had a hard time getting the pictures to show the glittery beads on this navy rosary, but the brown goldstone rosary really picked up the sunlight.  The navy beads sparkle just as much!  If you click on the images, you will see more copper flakes than in the regular size picture.  The beadcaps on the Pater bead are antiqued solid pewter and there are two little clear AB 3mm Swarovski crystals on the top and bottom of the bead.  This was such a joy to make!  Price:  $95

Above is one of the most unique pieces I've ever made.  Second only, perhaps, to the rare, aspirin/nailhead crystal rosary on this site, made with crystals that aren't produced any more and hard to find.  Well, this particular crystal chaplet pictured here is made of my usual quality heavy sterling wire, sterling crucifix and center.  However the beads are antique ones, from an antique necklace my dad gave me a long time ago.  He was fond of giving me antique necklaces and glass pieces for Christmas every year, and these beads made up one particular necklace one year, strung on the ugliest cotton string you've ever seen.  When the cotton string finally broke, I chopped up the necklace and here are the few of these irreplacable beads that remained from that necklace.  The beads are also bigger than the standard 8mm size, as they are more of a 10mm size, with the Pater bead probably being close to 20mm.  Each bead has a tiny silver beadcap at each end, and the Pater bead is flanked on each side by a 4mm Swarovski crystal.  All the beads have an AB coating, although some of this coating is rubbed off, due to the age of the beads.  If you look through a magnified view, you may pick up tiny, tiny little chips, also due to the age of the beads, although they are in remarkably great condition.  The crucifix and sterling wiring are heftier than most on the site, and the center is particularly unique in that it is a 3D rendition of the Madonna and Child.

I am showing you this piece in order to let you know that if you'd like one like it, I can find vintage beads/crystals on line and make you something similar, as this particular one has been bought.

Price:  $150, depending on materials.

Above is the most graceful pocket rosary ever...  It is made from sterling wire, sterling center, and a modern-style sterling crucifix.  Also, the Pater and Ave beads are the biggest, fattest fresh water pearls I could find.  Each pearl is graced with two silver beadcaps, and two 3mm Swarovski crystals on either end.  The crystals are light to medium amber in color, and set this piece off perfectly!  The center and the crucifix are slightly larger than the chaplets I make exclusively for women, and the wiring is 22 gauge sterling.  So, this is the best of both worlds...the wire I use for more delicate chaplets, and the crucifix and center I use for heftier pieces.  This is quite an unusual, beautiful piece.  Price:  $110.00

This unusual piece boasts wiring that is 22 gauge sterling, and the center and crucifix are heavy sterling.  It's a piece that could be for either sex, and the stones are Swarovski crystals, indicolite in color, and 8mm in size, with each bead flanked by tiny 3mm Swarovski crystals on either end, and silver beadcaps on either end.  The Pater crystal is flanked not only by the 3mm Swarovski crystals, but it has cone shaped beadcaps in antiqued solid pewter.  This is entirely wire wrapped for longevity and strength, and should provide a lifetime of graceful service.  Price:  $125.00

Above is another mid-weight chaplet/pocket rosary made with Swarovski crystals.  It is made with 22 guage sterling wire, and small Seven Sorrows of Mary sterling center, and larger celtic crucifix in sterling.  Both the center and crucifux are finished in a type of darker antique-looking finish.  I think this is the perfect foil for the glitterly, glitzy AB beads.  The cube beads are all Swarovski AB clear crystals, 8mm, flanked on either end by Swarovski AB clear crystals in a bicone, 3mm size.  The effect is simply stunning, as all these crystals reflect the light in the most amazing way, in that it picks up all the colors of the rainbow in a prism-like effect.  This piece has a nice feel to it, and the Pater crystal is accented by two of the smaller nailhead/aspirin Swarovski beads in 5mm size.  Price:  $95.00

Above is another cube-Swarovski chaplet.  The Swarovski cubes are 8mm in a light amber AB color, flanked by small Swarovski, 3mm AB crystals, on either end.  The Pater crystal is a clear Swarovski AB, flanked by 4mm AB Swarovski amber crystals.  The wiring is 22 guage sterling wire, and the puffy heart center and the small budding crucifix are both solid sterling.  This lightweight piece is distinctive in its coloring, as well as the feel of the square cubes sliding through the fingers.  This little chaplet should give you a lifetime of service in graceful prayer.  Price:  $85.00

Above is a great chaplet made of marvelous brown goldstone.  This bead is featured on page one of the pictures on this site, in a complete rosary.  This is a manmade bead, which is glass with about a gazillion flecks of copper embedded in it.  The effect, especially when held out in the sunlight, is just astounding in it's brilliance.  The beads on this chaplet are 8mm in size, and are flanked by silver beadcaps on either end.  The Pater bead is flanked by antiqued pewter beadcaps on each end, plus 3mm Swarovski crystals in a coffee color.  The whole piece is wired together with sterling wire, and the small center and crucifix are sterling as well.  This chaplet would be appropriate for a man or a woman.  The beads are smooth and slide through the fingers with ease and delight.  Price:  $85.00
